• We recommend that you leave a 2 inch (5cm) gap between the stringboard and the tip of the rod at both sides of
the staircase. The Eastern Promise range are made to measure, see below for measuring guidelines.
Eastern Promise Stair Rod For Carpet Runner.
• We recommend that you add 6 inches (15cm) when choosing the Cairo or Dubai finial, to the width of your
carpet and use this measurement to give you the tip to tip length of the stair rod. If choosing the Dune finial add
5 inches. NOTE: Tip to tip measurement includes the finials.
• Our standard runner bracket for this range has a clearance of 16mm however if you have either a deep pile
carpet or thin carpet please call for advice.

For easy care and maintenance, use a damp cloth to clean the rods. If you use household cleaners to clean the wood and paintwork of the staircase, apply them to the cloth and not directly onto the stair surface to avoid speckled tarnishing on the rods. Should any liquids accidentally spill on the stair rods, promptly clean them with a damp cloth and dry with a clean cloth. Keep your Royale stair rods looking exquisite for years to come.
